Vietnam Co. to Require US$75 Mln for Apatite Production by 2010

 State-run Vietnam Apatite Company said it will need VND1.2 trillion (US$75 million) for its apatite exploitation from now to 2010.
 
Of the sum, the company will use VND375 billion (US$23,400) this year to boost apatite production including to raise the capacity of Tang Loong Ore Processing factory in northern Lao Cai to 900,000 tons.
 
The source noted that the company plans to extract VND328 billion (US$20,500) from its budget for the period and borrow the rest from commercial banks.
 
The country’s top apatite producer targeted to churn out 1.8 million from now to 2010, both for export and local consumption, VNA added.(VNA, Vietnam Economic Times)
