Vinashin Affiliate Builds US$5-Mln Hotel in Northern Vietnam
Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Industry Corp (Nasico), an affiliate of Vinashin Business Group, is building a four-star hotel costing VND80 billion (US$5 million) in northern central Thanh Hoa province, the Vietnam & World Economy newspaper said Wednesday.
The 14-storey building will be cover an area of 10,500 square meters in the center of Sam Son tourism spot.
Nam Trieu expected the hotel, set to house 58 rooms including six for VIP, will start operation in late 2009.
Early this year, Nasico inked a contract with Norway’s Hoegh Autolines Group to build four car-carrier vessels valued US$70 million each. (Vietnam & World Economy)
