Pepsi Vietnam to Invest US$30 Mln to Produce Snack in Southern Vietnam

Pepsi Vietnam, an affiliate of PepsiCo, has just announced its plan to invest US$30 million to develop a closed snack production facility in southern Binh Duong province, the Kinh Te & Do Thi newspaper said on May 29.
 
Pepsi Vietnam will provide seeds and introduce cultivation techniques to local farmers and buy the potato output for its 10,000-ton snack factory a year, which is scheduled for inauguration in June this year, the paper said.
 
All the snacks are to be domestically sold, it said.
 
Pham Quynh Anh singer and a female music band named Weboys will be engaged in debuting the snack Poca in the coming time. (www.ktdt.com.vn))
