Japanese Firm to Build US$3 Mln Fashion Shoe Plant in Haiphong
Japan’s LPD Co., Ltd will build woman fashion shoes plant with total investment of US$3 million in the northern port city of Haiphong, the Dau Tu newspaper reported.
The company has rented 15,000 square meters of land at Trang Due Industrial Park to develop the project.
When operational in March 2009, the factory will employ 1,200 local laborers and will make export revenues of US$10 million every year.
LPD is the first wholly foreign-invested company pouring money in the industrial park. (Investment)
