Russia's Leading Carmaker GAZ Enters Vietnam
Russia's GAZ automobile group has recently made its debut in Vietnamese market with GAZ buses.
The buses run on diesel and were improvised from the car model, Paz-32054 small city bus and Paz-4234 medium bus.
In fact, GAZ's buses were sold in Vietnam for many years, but they were mainly sold to military units, state agencies and schools.
The representative from the GAZ group, Alexander Kudashov, said that the firm would offer cheap cars, 15 per cent-20 per cent lower than the prices of some European and Asian carmakers.
Russia Bus Co under GAZ group is one of the country's largest carmakers, formed in 1929 through a joint venture with U.S. based Ford Group. Currently, the company dominates Russia's bus market with a market share of 60 per cent.
Presently, GAZ group focuses on export markets of SNG, Vietnam, Rumania, and Cuba. (Pioneer)
