Vietnam-Kuwait Trade to Hit US$127 Mln This Year
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Kuwait is forecast to rise by 10 per cent to US$127 million (excluding Vietnam’s petroleum imports) in 2009, said the Vietnamese Industry and Trade Ministry (MoIT).
Vietnam mainly exports milk and milk products, seafood, tea, woodwork products, cloths and apparel, farm produce, handicrafts, cable wires, vegetables, electronics and components, footwear, and construction materials and steel, said the ministry without reporting the country’s imports from the oil-rich nation.
Last year, two-way trade between Vietnam and Kuwait reached US$US$116 million, up from US$65.5 million in 2007. (Vietnam Economic Times)
