Vinaconex to Export Cement to Mozambique

Cam Pha Cement Factory is ready for its first cement shipment package of 12,500 tons to Mozambique on Mar 23, said the plant’s investor, Vietnam Import-export and Construction Corporation (Vinaconex).

 

The plant is planning to export millions tons of cement and clinker to potential markets such as the Middle East, Africa, South Africa, Latin America and Europe in the near future.

 

Inaugurated March 2008, Cam Pha cement factory in northern coal-rich province of Quang Ninh, the largest of its kind so far in Vietnam, has a designed capacity of producing 2.3 million tons of PCB40 cement and 1.89 million tons of clinker annually. (Vietnam Economic Times)
