Vietnam Footwear Firm to Ship US$1 Mln Products to U.K., Germany
Lien Phat Footwear Limited Company in southern Binh Duong province has signed new export contracts to ship US$1 million of women’s shoes to European partners of the U.K. and Germany.
Under the deals, the company will ship 600,000 pairs of women’s shoes to the markets from now to July.
The company is searching for more new orders to remain the production and employment amid the economic downturn.
In the first quarter of this year, Vietnam’s footwear exports reached only US$915 million, down 10.8 per cent on year. (STD, New Hanoi)
