Citigroup: Annual G-bond Yields May Rise to 10 per cent-11 per cent
Citigroup’s analysts have said that the annual yields of government bonds may rise to 10 per cent to 11 per cent.
The Citigroup analysts also noted that a considerable number of auctions failed to sell bonds since February of this year, which may impede the government’s plan to issue US$1 billion overseas.
They attributed the failed auctions to yields capped by the government lower than the bidders wanted.
PetroVietnam has recently planned to issue bonds of US$1 billion on foreign markets, the paper said. (Saigon Marketing)
