Dung Quat Oil Refinery Expects to Earn Revenues of VND63T This Year

Vietnam’s first oil refinery Dung Quat expects to post revenues of VND63 trillion (US$3.315 billion) this year.
 
The plant, located in the central province of Quang Ngai, bought over 3.7 million tons of crude oil from the nation’s biggest oilfield Bach Ho since its first operation on Feb. 22, 2009 through May of this year.
 
The refiner has produced 3.3 million tons of products and sold over 2.8 million tons of the products to the domestic market so far.
 
This year, the US$3.054-billion plant plans to buy five million tons of crude oil to refine into 4.76 million tons of products. (VNA)
