70% of University Match Teachers Hold Doctorate Degrees

This is one of main objectives of the National Mathematics Development Programme in the 2010 - 2020 period approved by the Prime Minister in the Decision No. 1483/QD-TTg dated August 17, 2010. The VND651 billion programme is aimed to develop mathematics in Vietnam.

 

The objective of this program is to ensure enough high-level maths teachers at universities and colleges in 2020, adopt a suitable form to lure foreign and overseas Vietnamese mathematicians to Vietnam to study, train talents, and expand research activities by math lecturers and researchers at universities and colleges.

 

According to this decision, Vietnam will build an advanced mathematics academy to support high-level math studies and training for lecturers, mathematicians, doctors and postgraduates to realise their excellent math ideas and studies of high scientism and practicality.
