ADB Continues to Assist Vietnamese SMEs

The Government Office has issued Dispatch No 6226/VPCP-QHQT announcing that Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung agreed to allow the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to negotiate with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) about the loan agreement and related documents for Sub-program 1 of the Second Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) Development Programme.

 

Negotiators include representatives from the Presidential Office, the Government Office, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. As a chief negotiator, SBV was authorised to work with relevant ministries and agencies to finalise necessary procedures and report the outcomes to the Prime Minister.
