Vietnam Southern Key Economic Zone Techmart to Open in October
Technology and Equipment Trade Fair, or Techmart Dong Nai 2010, will take place in Vietnam’s southern province of Dong Nai from October 13-18, with the participation of seven cities and provinces in the Southern Key Economic Zone.
The fair will have 250 stalls of enterprises and institutions from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Long An, Tay Ninh and Tien Giang.
Speaking at a press briefing in HCM City Monday, the organizers said that the Techmart would showcase the latest products and solutions in mechanical engineering, food processing, biotechnology, environment protection, electronics and information technology.
The event is expected to introduce some 600 to 700 technologies, equipment, solutions and services, as a way to promote the technology market, and commercialize researches through technology transfer.
Enterprises from HCM City will have 100 booths at the event, offering the latest products in ICT and high technology in agriculture and environment protection, said Truong Thuy Trang, deputy director of the HCMC Department of Science and Technology.
Techmart Dong Nai 2010 is also an event to mark the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi. (Trade & Industry)
