The Vietnam Gold Star Award 2010 was granted to 200 trademarks from 56 provinces and cities nationwide at a solemn awarding ceremony held at the Hoa Binh Theatre, Ho Chi Minh City on September 2, 2010. Maritime Bank is proud to receive the award and be named a Top 100 Vietnam Trademark.
The Vietnam Gold Star Award 2010 was a great opportunity for businesses to test their reputation, empower their brands on the domestic and international markets, and contribute to strengthening Vietnamese brands. This is also an important activity of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in celebrating the 64th National Day and the 1,000th founding anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.
This is the second year in a row Maritime Bank won the award and was named the Top 100 Vietnam Trademark. These achievements are attributed to Maritime Bank’s endless efforts to pursue branding and product development strategies under international standards, and enhance product competiveness in a comprehensive way.
The Maritime Bank trademark passed all strict award criteria like transparency, turnover, return on equity, sales growth, sustainable growth, tax payment, charitable contributions, governance, risk control, and local development contributions. In 2009, the lender effectively contributed to the development of the banking sector and the national socioeconomic development. The bank made revenues of VND4,700 billion and employed nearly 500 workers.
The Vietnam Gold Star Award 2010 is a big credit and a strong motivation for Maritime Bank to redouble its effort to heighten its position in domestic and foreign markets.
