Vietnam - Laos Trade Fair to Open in Vientiane

The Vietnam - Laos Trade Fair 2010 is scheduled to take place from December 1 to 5, 2010 at the Lao International Trade Exhibition and Convention Centre (Lao ITECC) in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. 

 

Exhibits include agricultural, forest and aquatic products, processed foodstuffs, garments - fashion, electrical - electronics appliances, industrial machinery and equipment, construction and building materials, woodwork and handicrafts, consumer products, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, investment, tourism and commercial services.

 

According to the General Department of Customs, Vietnam earned US$125 million from exports to Laos in the first eight months of 2010, up 11.3 % from a year earlier. Vietnam’s main exports to the neighbouring nation were apparel, coal and steel. Vietnamese enterprises are recommended to further promote the advertising of their products in Laos, especially through joint fairs like this event.
