European Firm Keen on Infrastructure Projects in Vietnam
Companies from European countries are showing their investments in renewable energy and infrastructure projects in Vietnam, Chairman of European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Eurocham) Alain Cany said.
These firms are also interested in some other fields which are considered as Vietnam’s strong points such as supporting industries, education and health, Cany added.
More companies from European countries will increase their investments in the Southeast Asian country next year, he earlier said.
The recent survey covering 200 Eurocham members showed that up to 68% of them said that they will boost investments in Vietnam and a few enterprises plan to cut their investments in the country.
Netherlands now tops the lead among European investors in Vietnam, with an investment value of $5.23 billion, followed by France, U.K. and Switzerland with $2.94 billion, $2.22 billion and $1.45 billion, respectively. (Youth)
