Sam Son Culture Tourism Week 2011

“Sam Son Culture Tourism Week 2011” with the theme of “Meeting place of cultural colours” is set to open from April 28 to May 1, 2011. This will be the preparatory event for Thanh Hoa province’s hosting of the National Tourism Year 2015.

 

This is the first year the Sam Son Culture Tourism Week is held on a large scale with many special activities and programmes. Folk cultural activities will be the body of the weeklong event. Many provinces will join the festive, including Ha Noi, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh and Dak Lak.

The occasion is purposed to preserve and develop characteristic traditional activities of ancient Vietnamese royal capitals and serve as a nucleus for the construction of “Journey to Vietnamese ancient capital” tourism brand.

 

Many sporting events are also incorporated with the event, including tennis and beach volleyball.

 

This bout, Thanh Hoa province will announce a detailed plan for Quang Cu ecotourism zone and a master plan for expanding Sam Son Town, and provide more information for investors to invest in the local tourism development.
