Vietnam's recent economic growth has increased demand for the upgrading of construction and infrastructure, especially in major cities. It is apparent that there is a great potential for development, and the plans to improve national infrastructure will help the nation to advance in the future.
The Dutch company Fugro NV is an engineering services group operating in the fields of geotechnical engineering, surveying and geosciences. Since its establishment, Fugro Geotechnics Vietnam LLC has been involved in several major infrastructure projects in Vietnam, including the Gemalink Container Terminal in Vung Tau, the North-South Expressway, the Thi Vai Cai Mep International Container Terminal, the Rao II Bridge in Haiphong, and the Duyen Hai Power Plant.
