Lang Co Bay Festival Held
The “Lang Co - World’s Most Beautiful Bay” Festival was opened on July 9 - 10, 2011 in Phu Loc district, Thua Thien - Hue province to review two-year results after Lang Co was named the most beautiful bay in the world.
This was one of the activities to welcome the 2012 National Year of Tourism to be hosted by Thua Thien - Hue and to build a country-level brand for Lang Co tourist site. This was aimed to honour the bay’s beauty as well as showcase its tourism potential.
A lot of cultural and sports activities were held during the two-day event, including cuisine fair, ship worshiping rite, traditional rowing races, kite flying shows, and other art activities.
