Ten Countries, Territories to Join 1st Int'l Tea Festival

As much as 10 countries and territories will participate in the 1st International Tea Festival held in the northern province of Thai Nguyen from November 11-15, organizers said on August 19.
 
The festival in Thai Nguyen City and Nui Coc tourist site will be also attended by 30 traditional craft villages and 25 tea trading enterprises in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam’s tea hub.
 
The festival aims at promoting Vietnamese tea products in particular and the Vietnamese tea culture in general at home and abroad. The event will also act as a bridge for domestic and foreign tea traders and growers to share experience and expertise.
 
On the sidelines of the festival, an international tea seminar, an exhibition, a beauty contest, martial arts shows, a boat race, trade fairs, flower parades… will be held.
 
Tea grown and processed in Thai Nguyen is now available in many foreign markets, including China, Pakistan, Taiwan, Russia, India, Japan, the US…
