22 Billion VND for Dalat Flower Festival 2012
Dalat Flower Festival 2012 will be hosted by Lam Dong province and 22 VND billions will be spent on this event. Apart from state funding, there is an estimated funding of 17 billions raised from the public.
The 4th Dalat Flower Festival will be held during the six days from December 30, 2011 to January 3, 2012, including 9 main and 12 secondary programmes. An area of 12.000 m2 in Ho Xuan Huong and Dalat golf course will be a flower space to showcase Dalat by Dalat Flower Association.
After the opening ceremony on the evening of December 31, the main stage at the city square will be transformed into a carpet of flowers for visitors. Than Tho Lake will hold the immortal flowers and Dalat Zen Truc Lam Monastery will host the exhibition of honeysuckle flowers.
