Boosting Vietnam - Japan Cooperation
The Department of Commerce and Industry, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) regarding the Promotion of Exchange of CEOs of SMEs between Fukuoka Prefecture and Vietnam.
The signing ceremony was under the witness of the representatives of Mr Tadahisa Baba, Director General of Department of Commerce and Industry, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan and Mr Tran Thien Cuong, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Japan Business Forum cum Director General of International Relations Dept of VCCI.
Under the MOU, both sides agreed to boost the exchange of CEOs of SMEs to strengthen economic cooperation centered on SMEs.
In addition, both will work together to plan and implement the various cooperation projects to ensure the smooth execution to achieve the said aim. Furthermore, two sides will strive to proactively leverage and exchange information and networks considered advantageous to the promotion of said projects.
Moreover, both parties will actively cooperate to develop businesses from Fukuoka Prefecture in Vietnam and vice versa through measures such as reviewing specific business proposals after the implementation of said projects.
