Ha Long Week 2012 Aims for European Market

The Ha Long Week 2012 for European tourists is slated for opening in northern Quang Ninh province from November 27-30, 2012. The event, co-organised by Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and Vietnam Airlines, aims to popularize the image of Quang Ninh land and people, and raise the profile of the heritage value and wonder of Ha Long Bay on the European market.

 

This is an opportunity for the province to expand tourism development cooperation with eurozone countries, exchange opportunities, expand the market, promote tourism investment for Quang Ninh-based tourism businesses with foreigners, and grasp all available investment resources for tourism development.

 

The event expects to attract the participation of 270 delegates, including 140 international representatives from leading tourism companies and travel agencies from France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Nordic countries and Southern Europe.

 

The event will include other activities allowing visitors to go sightseeing and experience overnight accommodation services in Ha Long Bay. The province will also arrange exchange meetings for Vietnamese and EU tourism enterprises. It also holds a seminar on tourism promotion in Ha Long, together with a variety of cultural and arts performances.
