The Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City said the largest city of Vietnam was estimated to earn US$30.25 billion from exports in 2012, up 7.36 per cent over 2011.

Currently, the city’s goods have made presence in 228 countries and territories around the world, an increase of four markets from 2011. Exports come in more variety and in higher quality.
