E-Company - Solution to Optimise Business Performance

In the framework of the Project "IT-powered governance skill improvement programme for Vietnamese SMEs in the 2011-2013 period", the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI-HCM) and HP Corporation recently organised the seminar on “E-company - Key to success in crisis time” in HCM City.

 

Delivering an opening speech, Mr Vo Tan Thanh, Director of VCCI - HCM, stressed: "2013 is the year of smart business management system. Thus, to optimise production and business efficiency, all companies must restructure their operations, optimize workflows, and cut costs."

 

Economist Pham Chi Lan highlighted macro-economic improvements in 2012, such as controlled inflation, stable exchange rate, rising foreign exchange reserves, as well as opportunities and challenges to businesses in the time of economic integration. She also portrayed the economic picture of 2013.

 

In order to introduce smart business models and solutions, Huynh Dang Khoa, a representative of HP Vietnam, said Internet development and IT investment helped enterprises to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. He added that IT investment must be efficient, cost-effective, secure and supportive to operations of companies.
