Connecting with Waterway Travel Routes on the Gulf of Thailand

Mayors of five Mekong River downstream cities gathered in Ho Chi Minh City and agreed on the construction of waterway tourist routes connecting Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar based on the western corridor of the Gulf of Thailand with specific plans to link and develop tourism and other activities to increase intra-regional tourism by 15-20 percent a year in the 2013-2014 period.

 

The Gulf of Thailand waterway tourism connecting project, led by Bangkok, Thailand, will also be carried out during the above period.
