Roundtable Dialogue between Former WTO Director-General with Vietnam Businesses
The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to host the Roundtable Dialogue between former WTO Director General Pascal Lamy with Vietnamese Businesses on August 11, 2014 when he pays a working visit to Vietnam.
The dialogue is expected to welcome representatives from central agencies, corporations and business associations in Vietnam and from other countries.
Participants will discuss global trading system and WTO roles, trade trends and international trade negotiations, and experiences of developing countries in implementing WTO commitments.
In addition, the meeting will discuss issues Vietnamese businesses need to overcome in order to improve competitiveness in the context of global economic integration.
