HCM City Attracts US$1.2 Bln of FDI Capital
Ho Chi Minh City reported attracting US$1.2 billion of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first six months of 2015, up 12.2 percent year on year.
According to a report by the HCM City People's Committee, the city licensed 258 new projects with a total registered capital of US$798.4 million as of June 20, up 52.7 percent year on year in projects but down 17.5 percent in capital. The city also allowed 84 projects to add US$409.9 million, up 58 percent in projects and 3.7 times in capital.
