Discover World Class Event for Electronics Manufacturing Advancement at NEPCON Vietnam 2015

“Nepcon Vietnam 2015”, the 8^th edition of Vietnam’s Only Exhibition on SMT, Testing Technologies, Equipment and Supporting Industries for Electronics Manufacturing, is taking place during September 17-19 at the International Center for Exhibition (I.C.E. Hanoi), Culture Palace, in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Revealed: “Through many years, Vietnam has exhibited an impressive potential to become the hub of ASEAN’s electronics manufacturing, which has resulted 78 percent expansion per year in exports for the past four years to reach US$35 billion in 2014. By the end of last year, electronics shipments had successfully accounted for 23 percent of all Vietnam’s exports, up from only five percent comparing from four years earlier. Meanwhile, the industry has become a key driver of the economy, making up 23.4 percent of GDP last year, up from just 5.2 percent in 2010. As we move toward a single market of AEC in the very near future, cooperation across sectors and across boundary is increasingly important. This is why Reed Tradex Co., Ltd. has organized NEPCON Vietnam 2015 in Hanoi with an aim to connect technology providers with the electronic manufacturing industrial community and driving Vietnam’s industrial development forward.

NEPCON Vietnam is one of the global NEPCON series, there are over 100 leading brands of machinery, tools and equipment from 10 countries will be present. At NEPCON this year, by presenting the international machinery and solutions from our suppliers, we would want to be a part that supports the growth of Electrical & Electronics manufacturing scene here, as well as promoting industrial cooperation between Singapore and Vietnam.” 

In addition to the technologies for better production efficiency, there is also a skill enhancing activity called “Hand Soldering Championship” which is organized by IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries. This will be an arena for competitors to compete in building a functional electronics assembly within a time limit. Assemblies will be judged with IPC-A-610EClass 3 criteria, and IPC-A-610 by Master Instructors.
