Saigontourist Joins Hands with TUI Aktiengesellschaft Group

TUI Aktiengesellschaft Group on February 22-24, 2005 worked with the Saigon Tourist Corp. (Saigontourist) to seek cooperation opportunities in the tourism field in Vietnam and decided to join hands with the company in four sectors: travelling, hotels and tourism resorts, training and promotion.

TUI will invest in marine tours from Vietnam to Thailand, Cambodia and Laos, and in projects of coastal resorts, including a five-star resort in Phu Quoc Island. The group pledges to promote Vietnam's image and Saigontourist trademark in the markets of Germany and Europe.    

TUI is the largest tourism group in Europe with 3,600 tourism agents in 16 countries, 285 hotels in 25 nations and hundreds of airplanes and ships, and receives around 20 million tourists annually.
