HDBank and Japan Finance Corporation recently signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, HDBank will assist Japanese customers to access best service packages. Specifically, when Japanese customers are guaranteed for loans at HDBank by the Japan Finance Corporation, they will be entitled to preferential interest rates, the same as those applied to cash-secured loans. This cooperation will benefit both parties and effectively support partners of Japanese companies as well as customers of Japan Finance Corporation in Vietnam.

This cooperation agreement aims to develop SME customers, especially from Japan, bringing HDBank closer to a leading bank for SMEs and foreign-invested companies of all scales.

In September 2014, HDBank launched the Japanese Help Desk to provide comprehensive financial services for Japanese customers in Vietnam. Since then, by expanding its cooperation with seven banks and other Japanese financial groups, the Japan Help Desk at HDBank has continuously improved its service quality and boosted the prestigious image of HDBank, the financial strength and product diversity and utility in the Japanese business community.

In the coming time, HDBank will continue to improve its products and services to better serve Japanese customers in Vietnam, especially 1,300 Japanese companies in Ho Chi Minh City.

Japan Finance Corporation is wholly owned by the Japanese Government. It was founded from the merger of four financial institutions and operated as a policy financial institution that provides financial supports for Japanese companies engaged in agriculture, seafood, food and other small and medium enterprises. Currently, Japan Finance Corporation is directly lending about 44,000 companies in Japan, including about 520 in Vietnam.
