The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a ceremony to award membership certificates to 25 businesses and trade associations at the VCCI Headquarters in Hanoi on November 16, 2020. This is one of VCCI’s regular activities to serve the business community.

These new members are active in many fields like technology, construction materials, trade, real estate, tourism, transportation services and consulting. Especially during this event, in addition to individual members, some trade associations were also admitted, including Hanoi Industry and Trade Association.

Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of VCCI, said that upon gaining VCCI membership, businesses will actively respond to problems as they do business and receive the most timely and effective support from VCCI.

Mr. Nguyen Bac Ha, Head of the VCCI Membership and Training Department, said that VCCI members will be supported in many aspects, particularly the opportunity to transact with domestic and foreign customers; provide legal advice and business matters; join fairs, conferences, seminars and training classes; and resolve disputes that may arise in business relationships.

Representatives of new VCCI members expressed their joy with the membership, expected to receive support from VCCI in trade and investment promotion and capacity building, and hoped to have business cooperation ties with other VCCI members.
