Zace, Matiz Sedans Sold Well in April

Toyota Vietnam (TMV) sold 395 Zace sedans in April, the largest volume of a current model in the month, bringing the total sales to 1,254 units in the first four months of this year.

The seven-seated Zace is the only model in Vietnam to exceed sales of over 1,000 units in the four months.

Toyota sold 989 Zace sedans in the January-April period last year.

Daewoo Matiz of GM Daewoo’s Vidamco ranked the second in sales in April with 217 units. Last month GM Daewoo’s branch sold 179 Matiz sedans.

The remarkable increase in Matiz sales is attributable to the launching of new models in March.

Toyota and Vidamco were the two largest car sellers in April with 935 units and 421 units, holding 31.95% and 14.39% of the market share, respectively.
