Ford Everest Debuts in Vietnam

Ford Vietnam yesterday rolled out the first Ford Everest in its factory in northern Hai Duong province.

The seven-seat family Ford Everest SUV outstands with a Turbo diesel engine 2.5, intercooler system and electronic fuel injection system.

The US-invested Ford Vietnam began selling Ford Everest in March and over 1,200 orders have been placed for this SUV model, even though it hadn’t rolled off the assembly line.

“The eye-catching style and impressive strong overview of the model has driven us to buy it before touching it,” said the first purchasers.

Tim Tucker, general director of Ford Vietnam, said his company has considerably invested both human resources and finances into the assembly of the Ford Everest.

Ford Everest comes in three versions with six colors, including two new colors of nautique blue and heather mist and four contemporary colors of moonlight silver, metallic black, red fire and diamond white.

Ford Everest 2.6L Gasoline Version will sell for US$32,500, Ford Everest 2.5L Diesel US$31,500 and Ford Everest 2.5L Diesel 4WD for US$41,500, including 10 per cent value-added tax.
