Five-star Hotel Group Announces Special Summer Room Charges

French hotel management group Accor is offering special room rates at its hotels around Asia including Vietnam from June 1 to late September this year.

Room rates will be held at only US$37 minimum for five Accor hotels in Vietnam, all five-star ones, including Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, Sofitel Dalat Palace, Sofitel Plaza Saigon, Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, Novotel Garden Plaza Saigon, Golf Resort Phan Thiet, and Novotel Dalat.

The discount rate is US$29 in Jakarta, US$46 in Bangkok, US$38 in Hong Kong and US$72 in Shanghai.

In April, the owner of the world famous brand name realized a part of its strategy to spread its activities throughout the Asia-Pacific region with the bestowal of the Sofitel name on the Vinpearl Resort & Spa, Vietnam’s largest five-star resort, at the Hon Tre tourism site in coastal Nha Trang City in central Khanh Hoa province.

According to Patrick Basset, Chairman of Accor in Asia, the group desires to build international standard hotels in Vietnam to rank it fourth among Asian countries with Accor operations.

“We are preparing for the operations of three five-star hotels in Phan Thiet, Hue and Ha Long bearing the name of Sofitel,” he said.

Accor is an international hotel management group with 168,000 members in 140 countries. It operates nearly 4,000 hotels around the world, including five in Vietnam.
