"Lighting Young Business Talents" Contest Draws Sponsorships of Five Companies

A ceremony to sign sponsorship agreements for the "Lighting Young Business Talents" Contest 2005 was held at the Business Administration Department of the Hanoi School of Business under the Vietnam National University of Hanoi on July 23, 2005.

Until now, five enterprises have pledged to financially support the contest, including Vietnam Military Telecoms Corp. (Viettel), Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Machinery and Spares Part Import-Export Company (SPC), Hoang Quan Real Estate Co. and Vietnam Airlines (the official carrier of the contest). Besides, VNexpress E-newspaper has become the official information patron of the contest.
 

On the same day, the organising committee also announced major new regulations of this year’s contest.

 

On July 20, 2005, the organising committee declared 110 successful candidates of the first round. Of the sum, 60 candidates were chosen at examinations in Hanoi, 10 in Danang City and 40 in Ho Chi Minh City. These candidates scored the highest marks in the three-subject examinations. The knowledge of participants in this contest is considered higher than last year. Specifically, 21.15 per cent of candidates are regarded as excellent while 73.61 per cent are seen as of a high standard.

 

The "Lighting Young Business Talents" contest 2005 has many differences in comparison with previous ones, especially in the second round. The improvements are aimed to find genuine business talents.
