52 Vietnamese students of SaigonTech School have received IT diploma from Houston Community College System - HCCS, Texas, USA. They are additional human resources for Vietnam IT. SaigonTech in Quang Trung Software Park, District 12, HCMC, is specialised in training software and networking. It is also the official branch of HCCS in Vietnam with quality evaluation of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools - SACS.
SACS is responsible for the evaluation in 11 Southern States. SaigonTech students and diploma have the same quality as those of HCCS, and the students can continue the study at colleges in the US and other countries. Among 52 students, 8 have been admitted to colleges and companies in the US, Australia, UK, Singapore and Japan. The remaining students have also found their well-deserved jobs. Mr Do Quoc Anh, Representative of Education Ministry in Ho Chi Minh city said : “It is a clear example of high quality education in Vietnam, a success of the policy of openness, co-operation and development”.
