The Photo Contest “Vietnam-EU: 15 Years of Cooperation & Development” is recently launched by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in conjunction with the Delegation of the European Commission to Vietnam. This event is part of the celebrations of the 15 th anniversary of Vietnam-EC diplomatic relations.
More than 150 professional photographers representing 1,500 members of the Vietnam Photographers' Association attended the event.
The Photo Contest, an initiative of Delegation of the European Commission to Vietnam, in cooperation with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, called for the participation of professional and amateur photographers throughout Vietnam in reflecting the changes in all aspects of life brought about by the development assistance provided by the European Union and its Member States in their artistic photos.
A jury will select the 100 best entries, which will be displayed in a Photo Exhibition in Hanoi in mid-October. One first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes, together with ten consolation prizes, will be presented to the most attractive photos. The total value of prizes will be around VND 40 million.
