International Handicraft Fair - Ho Chi Minh City Expo 2005 - will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from October 3-7 with the participation of 800 stalls by local and foreign firms.
Of which 100 stalls belong to foreign companies. About 80 per cent of the total stalls will display wooden furniture, wood materials, and wooden designs. The remaining stores will be for handicrafts.
This is the largest international handicraft fair in this year’s national trade promotion program. The fair aims to promote the country’s handicraft and fine art export turnover, which is targeted to reach US$1.4 billion this year.
