Vietnam Small and Medium Enterprises Team up

The first congress of the Vietnam Small and Medium Enterprises Association has recently been held in Hanoi . The Congress selected Mr. Cao Sy Kiem the chairman of the Association. Kiem is also the deputy director of the Central Economics Commission. The 400-member association unites, cooperates and supports small and medium-sized enterprises of all the economic sectors in the country, aiming to help its members to improve business efficiency.

 

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Congress, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem assessed “This is a meaningful event and the formation of the Association is essential in the context that the population of small and medium-sized enterprises is on the rise. Small and medium enterprises, accounting for 96 per cent of all Vietnamese enterprises, are contributing greatly to the development of the country.

 

 

The Deputy Prime Minister said the Vietnam Small and Medium Enterprises Association will help expand larger roles of enterprises, better exploit public resources and enhance production.
