Herbalife Vietnam Awarded Vietnam Creative Ad 2021

Premier nutrition company Herbalife Vietnam has been presented with the “Vietnam Creative Ad 2021” Award by the Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for its submission “My stories”. In this video-format entry, athletes Chau Tuyet Van (taekwondo), Nguyen Thi Hai (javelin throwing, weightlifting, discus throwing), Nguyen Thi That (cycling), and Le Van Cong (weightlifting) share their inspiring stories. These athletes are all from very different backgrounds but they share the same strong passion and determination to overcome challenges and the true joy that comes from reaching the peak of glory.

Vu Van Thang, General Manager for Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said: “As a strong supporter of Vietnam’s sports and athletes, we are delighted that our entry “My stories” about Vietnam’s top sporting talent has been recognised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. I believe that the true stories from these athletes will strongly help promote healthy active lifestyles and inspire everybody, especially young generations, to always stay confident and determined to make their goals come true”.

The Vietnam Creative Ad contest took place from June 2021 to November 2021, with competition criteria covering professionalism, quality, and good content. The contest attracted good participation from organizations, individuals and mass media nationwide, and the Organizing Committee received nearly 100 entries from 50 businesses and major brands. The winning entries were praised for their high quality, preserving cultural and ethical values, raising awareness of community responsibility, and contributing to taking Vietnam’s advertising industry to the next level.

The Vietnam Creative Ad Awards event was held in accordance with the Decision issued in 2021 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in order to effectively implement the project of building and promoting national brands in 2020 – 2030 and expediting the development of the advertising industry.

Herbalife Vietnam started its long-term partnership with Vietnam Olympic Committee (VOC) and Vietnam Paralympic Association (VPA) from 2012. Herbalife Nutrition aims to support aspirations of Vietnam athletes to outperform and garner better results in regional and international sporting events. Under this partnership, Herbalife Vietnam provides its wide range of nutrition products, sports nutrition consulting and training to the athletes and coaches of VOC and VPA. In 2021, Herbalife Vietnam became the official sponsor of the Men’s National Football Team, the Women’s National Football Team, and the U22/U23/Olympic National Football Team from 2021 to 2024.
