Polaris Vietnam Co., Ltd recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to start construction on a factory in Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province. Attending the event were Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of departments and branches of Vinh Phuc province.

The US$40-million factory, which will be built on an area of 12 ha in Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park, will manufacture motorcycle, automobile and other vehicle parts for customers. It will manufacture about 30,000 products a year, destined to be exported to Asia Pacific countries. The facility is expected to be completed in January 2024. Once completed, it will create jobs for about 600 local workers and positively contribute to the local economic growth.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Le Duy Thanh highly appreciated Polaris Group for choosing Vinh Phuc as its investment destination and congratulated its project commencement in Vinh Phuc. This proves the fruition of the province’s efforts to improve the investment environment, with policies on business support and development, with adequate attention and respect for businesses of Vinh Phuc provincial authorities. The Polaris facility in Vinh Phuc will create a ripple effect to attract other companies and projects from the US as well as from other American countries to invest in the province. At the same time, he suggested that the investor accelerate construction to ensure quality and schedule as committed, strictly comply with laws on planning, investment, construction, environmental protection and other relevant regulations, and help boost local socio-economic development.
Polaris is one of the leading mobile vehicle manufacturers in the world with more than 30 famous brands. After five years of building an assembly plant in Vietnam, Polaris Group constructed another one in Ba Thien 2 Industrial Park, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province.
