Shinhan Life Vietnam Cooperates to Organize iLead Education Program for Youth SOS Children's Village Vietnam

Shinhan Life Insurance Vietnam Limited Liability Company (Shinhan Life Vietnam) in June cooperated with BNJ Vietnam Co., Ltd (BNJ) to implement iLead education program for teenagers at SOS Children's Villages Vietnam.

This is in “iLead Leadership Values Program” for the youths from SOS Children Villages age from 15 to 25 years old about leadership values designed by Dr John C. Maxwell, iLead Leadership Values program. This is also an activity carried out under the framework of YouthCan! Programme Initiative by SOS Children’s Villages International – Partnership for youth employability.

The iLead program provides students with a forum to acquire leadership knowledge, skills and values that enable them to to practice leadership skills while encouraging connection and harmony in the peer group; thereby developing better relationships with peers, finding their voice and taking action to align themselves with good values.

The iLead curriculum consists of 3 modules: iChoose, iDo and iLead, each inspired by the leadership philosophies of author, speaker, coach and leader - Dr. John C. Maxwell, including: values-based and people centric lessons designed in partnership with educational leaders to encourage future generations to develop and practice leadership values and skills.

Teenagers participating in the program will learn and discover the values and qualities from the iLead program, choose personal values ​​applied to their self-development, approach the leadership development journey from self-leadership, thereby increasing the ability to integrate smoothly into the life and labor market of the society. In addition, Shinhan Life Vietnam also creates opportunities for skills training, internship opportunities and job opportunities in the future for students with suitable aspirations and abilities.

As a long-term community project from 2023 - 2025, the iLead program will be held at SOS Children's Villages Vietnam in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City in the first year of 2023.
