VCCI, JCCI Strengthen Business Cooperation and Connection

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) are working together to support businesses in promoting trade, investment, and business culture. They aim to help further strengthen the Vietnam-Japan relationship.

VCCI President Pham Tan Cong recently hosted a meeting with JCCI President Kinoshita Tadahiro. During the meeting, Mr. Kinoshita highly appreciated the Vietnamese Government’s efforts in reforming administrative procedures and improving the business investment environment. Vietnam is currently one of the most potential countries in ASEAN for business development and investment expansion for Japanese businesses.

Mr. Kinoshita also acknowledged VCCI’s important role in providing policy advice and support for the Japanese business community in Vietnam. He thanked VCCI for successfully organizing the Vietnam-Japan Economic Forum in February 2023. This important event helped connect Vietnamese and Japanese businesses to exchange information and actively propose ideas and cooperation opportunities.

VCCI President Pham Tan Cong emphasized that Japanese businesses have made many important contributions to Vietnam’s economic development. He hopes that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations, VCCI and Japan will jointly organize many meaningful programs and activities to demonstrate strong friendship and deepen cooperation in the future.

He affirmed that VCCI will strengthen coordination with and support foreign businesses, especially the Japanese business community, to feel assured in investing and doing business in Vietnam.
