Eximbank Earns US$11.4Mln Profits
The Vietnam Export-Import Commercial Bank of Vietnam (Eximbank) posted its profits [including extraction for risk reserve] in the first ten months reaching VND180 billion (US$11.4 million).
By the end of October, Eximbank had total outstanding loans of more than VND6.8 trillion (US$430.4 million), of which the bad debts ratio accounted for les than 4 per cent.
The total assets in Eximbank as of the end of September were reported at VND10.56 trillion ($668 million), an increasing of 28 per cent from the beginning of the year.
Eximbank, capitalized at VND500 billion, is at present the third largest joint stock bank in Vietnam after the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Bank (Sacombank) and Asia Commercial Bank (ACB).
