Herbalife Vietnam, a premier health and wellness company, was the official title sponsor of the New Year celebration, “Welcome New Year 2024”, for the second consecutive time in Hanoi from December 31st, 2023, to January 1st, 2024.

The celebration was organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. There were two main events, the music festival "Herbalife Countdown Party 2024 - Live Your Best Life" and the running event "Vietnam International Half Marathon 2024 powered by Herbalife".

“Our continued sponsorship of this program aligns with our commitment to fostering health and well-being of people and communities through promoting healthy active lifestyles and the power of good nutrition”, said Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia.

“We are very delighted that the New Year 2024 Celebration have received strong support and positive feedback from the community and relevant stakeholders. We hope that local residents and tourists have many joyful and memorable moments at the beginning of 2024 with our events, the grand music party and the international standard outdoor sports tournament”, Mr. Thang added.

"The Herbalife Countdown Party 2024 - Live Your Best Life" was a music party at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square featuring a lineup of top Vietnamese entertainers supported by impressive stage effects such as modernized kinetic lighting and fireworks. The sophisticated blend of traditional musical instruments and electronic music throughout these performances also helped create unique experiences for the audience.

The "Vietnam International Half Marathon 2024 powered by Herbalife" is the first international standard half marathon in Vietnam licensed by the Asian Athletics Association. The routes took participants past famous and beautiful roads and landmarks of Hanoi, such as Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Thanh Nien Street, Phan Dinh Phung Street, and Tran Quoc Pagoda.

The tournament attracted about five thousand participants, professional national and international athletes, and amateur runners who can choose from short, middle, and long distances – 5km, 10km, and 21km.
