French Life Insurance Joins the Local Market

Life Insurance Co., Ltd Prevoir Vietnam, a wholly French owned life insurance company has opened its office in Hanoi. Prevoir Vietnam will start postal life insurance products through VNPT network on January 1, 2006. 

Prevoir Vietnam is a member company of Prevoir Group with 100 years of experiences in life insurance, savings and pensions. Prevoir Vietnam will begin with two products Phuoc An Gia and Phuoc Binh An (Fortune and Safety for family and person). The service on the VNPT network is reliable and available seven days a week. Mr Co Minh Duc, Chairman of the Management Board said, “We have established relations with Vietnamese partners and we understand the market and have full confidence in the dynamic economy and life insurance market of Vietnam. Therefore, our strategy is long-term investment in Vietnam”.

 

Prevoir Vietnam received the license from the Ministry of Finance on March 17, 2005 and will operate for 50 years with initial investment capital of US$10 million. Its head office is at Mat Troi Song Hong building, 23, Phan Chu Trinh, Hanoi.
