ACB Launches Real Estate Trading Floor

The ACB Real Estate Center, under the umbrella of the Asian Commercial Bank, has set up a property trading floor on which prices of land and houses are valued and transactions are conducted in Vietnamese dong.

 

The floor is designed to make property transactions more liquid and flexible. Recently, property priced in VND has been sold more quickly than those priced in gold values, according to the center. Rising gold prices have pulled land values up, as well, at a time when the real estate market is already stagnant.

 

A representative from the center said that the high gold prices would discourage those wanting to buy houses. The price of yellow metal remains at the high level of more than VND10 million per tael.
