During the ceremony, delegates, journalists, media representatives, as well as local youth and residents, toured the community sports area and participated in exercise activities using the newly upgraded equipment.

The community sports yard in Da Nang City, part of the Project, has been repaired, renovated, and upgraded, covering a total area of approximately 1,000 square meters, including a basketball court, a volleyball court, a pickleball court and various modern equipment and facilities. The renovations and improvements include resurfacing the yards; enhancing the green spaces; adding outdoor fitness equipment such as portable basketball hoops badminton nets and posts, and multifunctional sports equipment. Additionally, cabinets and recycling bins have also been added to encourage residents to collect and sort waste at the source, contributing to environmental protection and minimizing the waste of reusable materials. These upgrades are tailored to meet the long-term practical conditions and usage needs of the local community, creating a convenient space for youth and residents to engage in outdoor recreational and fitness activities.

To date, two sports yards under the Project have been inaugurated, including the Thanh Hoa yard (inaugurated on October 4) and the Da Nang yard (October 13). Three more yards are expected to be completed in October in Can Tho, Bac Giang, and Ho Chi Minh City. Additionally, four more projects in Dong Nai, Bac Ninh, Binh Duong, and Nghe An provinces are expected to be inaugurated in 2024.

The implementation plan describes a program that focuses on renovating and upgrading yards to transform them into sports structures that align with practical conditions and needs. Over a period of three years (from 2024 to 2026), a total of 20 projects are expected to be completed. These projects aim to provide high-quality community sports yards, especially for youth in underserved areas where training facilities are lacking.

These efforts further emphasize TCP's three key strategies: Fulfilling - Growing – Caring, guided by the “Energizing a Better World for All” purpose. This is one of nine projects being presented in nine provinces and cities in 2024 to celebrate the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation, term 2024-2029. With the spirit of ‘Energizing Vietnamese Youth’, the youth sports yard project will provide young people with a place to train, develop physically, and enhance their spiritual well-being, thereby adding energy and awakening the youthful spirit of Vietnamese youth. I highly appreciate the attention and support from TCP Group and TCP Vietnam in contributing to the lives of young people, promoting the movement for sports and health, and improving the quality of life. This, in turn, drives the development of Vietnamese youth. I hope that, in the future, organizations, businesses, and individuals will continue to collaborate and support sports training activities for youth, contributing to building a generation of healthy, energetic, and positive Vietnamese youth".

Footballer Nguyen Tien Linh, an ambassador for the program, shared: "I am very honored to accompany this project as a campaign ambassador. As an athlete, I understand the importance of having a quality sports space for training and development. This project offers a fantastic opportunity for young people and serves as an inspiration, promoting sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle, thereby improving the health and physical fitness of the Vietnamese people".
