At the AISC Conference, SemiKong—an open-source AI model—was introduced to Vietnam’s technology community. This pioneering model optimizes chip manufacturing and is a collaboration between Aitomatic (USA), Tokyo Electron (Japan), and FPT Software (Vietnam). SemiKong was developed in response to the growing demand for open-source AI platforms, playing a crucial role in improving speed, accuracy, and productivity in high-tech manufacturing. The launch of this platform in Vietnam marks a significant step in enhancing local enterprises’ technological capabilities and creates opportunities for the country to integrate more deeply into the global semiconductor production value chain.

The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors (AISC) 2025 focuses on discussions around emerging technological trends in AI and semiconductors, including revolutionizing chip design and manufacturing, the potential of advanced semiconductor architectures, and strategic policies to strengthen global collaboration. Key conference sessions cover topics such as AI-driven innovation in chip design and solutions for energy efficiency and performance optimization in semiconductors.

A special highlight of the conference is the Policy Forum, chaired by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, under the theme: “Vietnam’s Proactive Development of the Semiconductor and AI Industry in the New Era.”
